Nanasaheb Mahadik Polytechnic Institute (NMPI), Sangli, is one of the well-known technical institutes in Maharashtra. The institute offers several types of diploma courses under various engineering disciplines and an organized admission process. NMPI is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is an affiliated college.

NMPI Admission process NMPI follows a selective process of admissions to the diploma programs that it offers. Diploma in Electrical Engineering: NMPI conducts 60 seats for the diploma in electrical engineering program. The admission process is the same as that in the case of Mechanical Engineering Diploma with an emphasis on CET score and 10th standard performance in relevant subjects.

Diploma in Computer Engineering: With the intake of 60 students, this program also takes up the standard admission procedure based on CET performance and academic record.

Diploma in Civil Engineering: NMPI has 60 seats for the diploma in Civil Engineering. The candidates are selected based on their CET rank and academic performance in 10th standard, especially in Mathematics and Science.

Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering: This course has a relatively small intake of 30 seats. The admission process is similar to other diploma courses, which is based on CET scores and merit.
