Nandha College of Technology Erode Tamilnadu, an affiliated college was started in the year 2008. NCT is affiliated, NAAC accredited and approved by AICTE with engineering programs in the 10.6 acre campus. The total number of students that the institute enrolls is 1,326 and the total number of faculty members are 126 and 6 courses are offered at this institute spread over 2 degree levels. NCT boasts a diverse student body with a 67:totals up to a 33 male to female ratio in undergraduate programs and the 33:67 ratio in postgraduate programs. The college specializes in Computer Science and engineering, Information Technology Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Electrical and electronics Engineering.

Sports amenities in NCT include kitchens, library, dining halls, laboratory, lecture halls, creche facilities, sick bay, games facilities, dormitory and administration. The campus has facilities for male and female hostels transporting the students back to their home environment in secure and environmentally sensitive accommodation. A good example of an institutional library has established collection of books, journals and electronic documents in different areas of science and technology. 

In addition to these, the college has equipped the institution with adequate overhauled laboratories for each department where the students can practice practical exercises. There are provision for sports such as a basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, jogging track, school gymnasium,and a nutritional canteen. The campus has Wi-Fi to allow students easy access to the internet for academic use. Moreover, NCT also operate transport facility up to 85 KM with connectivity to Tirupur, Avinashi, Palladam, Tiruchengode, and Sankari.

There are in total 6 courses offered by the institute in which 4 are based undergraduate full-time programs and 3 are post-graduate programs. The undergraduate programs comprise BE Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, B Tech IT. Here NCT provide post graduate course like Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering, Communication system and so on. The data of overall intake sanctioned for the undergraduate courses is 360 while this discipline has received the biggest intake of 120 seat for Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology. For prior academic year, 901 students were admitted to the undergraduate programs and 3 students to the postgraduate program.

Admission to Nandha College of Technology is conducted in adherence to the set guidelines by the University as well the Government of Tamil Nadu. For undergraduate programs, students can seek admission through two routes: These are, checking tuition fees that are paid by students, Clearly distinguishing and providing for two types of admission which are Regular Admission and Lateral Entry Admission. 

Regular Admission is for students joining this programme from the first semester of the eight-semester B.E./B.Tech programme whilst Lateral Entry Admission is for diploma holders joining the third semester of the B.E./B.Tech programme. There is a range of entrance examinations that are considered by the college; however, TNEA is the major one for students who are going to study engineering. NCT also provides scholarships; in the most recent academic year, 114 undergraduate and 1 postgraduate student received reimbursements. The college is industry connected and has seen its alumni produce engineering education hence; its reputation.
