Nandha College of Technology Erode Tamilnadu, an affiliated college was started in the year 2008. Nandha College of Technology offers scholarships to promote deserving students and students from economically weaker sections. Last academic year, an amount was disbursed among 114 students at the undergraduate level and one student at the postgraduate level.

Nandha College of Technology, Erode, is one of the best engineering institutions approved by the AICTE and accredited by NAAC. The NCT admission calendar is generally in tune with that of Tamil Nadu universities. Of course, the exact dates might vary from year to year, but the admission process is generally considered to have started after the declaration of the 12th standard results, generally between May and June. Admission to undergraduate programs is through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) on the basis of marks obtained in the 12th standard examination. The minimum eligibility for undergraduate programs is to have completed the study of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects.
The candidates should have secured at least a minimum aggregate as prescribed by the Tamil Nadu government in the respective academic year. For the postgraduate programs, a graduation degree in the relevant discipline of engineering is required. For undergraduate programs, admissions to varying courses are based on the scores secured in national-level entrance examinations excluding TNEA, which is the only recognized main undergraduate entrance examination. For the postgraduate programs, especially M.E. programs, the entrance scores of Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) are considered.

M.E. Programs: NCT offers postgraduate programs in Computer Science and Engineering and Communication Systems. Admission is through TANCET scoring for M.E. Candidates with relevant degrees in B.E./B.Tech may apply. The intake rate for these programs in the college is 6 seats for each.
