Nandha Teacher Training Institute, the institution Which was established in the year – 2006 and Nandha Teacher Training Institute is a self financing institution situated at Erode, Tamil Nadu. Located in a small campus of 2 acres, the institute’s total student strength is 27 students strength at present and the teaching faculty comprises of 5 members. Currently, Nandha Teacher Training Institute has one course, the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) to produce competent teachers to teach the children in the primary and upper primary classes.
There is a variety of facilities of the institute for the improvement of learning atmosphere of the students. The library, which is regarded as the center of an institution, has a diversified list of books, journals, magazines, and other study materials dealing with management sciences, science and education technology. On the practical training, the college offers departmental-based laboratory facilities throughout the colleges. The institution is conducting this program as a two-year diploma course in Elementary Education with 50 seats per year as sanctioned by the PSC, Govt of Tamil Nadu, for admission for teaching posts in government schools in Elementary Education level. Admission to the D.El.Ed program is on merit basis decided by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or any entrance examination as per the policy of the state government. The process of selection might also include other assessment methods as prescribed by the relevant authorities.
