24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Eligibility Criteria
(A) Candidates with at least 50% marks either in a bachelor’s degree and/or a master’s degree in science, social sciences, humanities, commerce, home science, BBA/BCA, or any other qualification equivalent are eligible for admission to the program. There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favor of SC/BC candidates. Candidates with less than 45% marks belonging to these categories shall not be eligible.
(B) Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto is eligible for admission to the program. There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favor of SC/BC candidates. A candidate with less than 50% marks belonging to these categories shall not be eligible.
Admission Details
Admission to the course shall be open to all eligible candidates. 85% of seats will be reserved for candidates from within the state, and 15% will be open to candidates from other states on an all-India basis.
