Narasinghpur College was established in the year 1978 and is situated in Narasinghpur, Cuttack, Odisha. This college is located on a campus of 11.95 acres and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is a college  with 997 students and 29 faculty members and offers 5 degree programmes in 13 different courses. The Narasinghpur College fulfills the learners’ different academic needs as it offers specialisation in Arts, Commerce, and Science. Narasinghpur College has a total of thirteen courses on offer all of which being full-time courses. These courses extend to Arts, Science, as well as Commerce streams of education. The college offers honours Bachelor pf Arts programme in Economics, Education, Geography, History, Political Science, Sanskrit, Sociology, Mathematics and English. In the science, it provides B.Sc for the students and in Commerce it provides general B.Com and B.Com (Hons) to the student. In total, the approved intake academically for all courses is 997, although certain courses may contain additional specific intakes. For example, the BA Education Hons and BA Political Science Hons programmes have 16 students to admit, while for the B.Sc and B.Com as many as 64 students can be admitted to each programme.
