Narayanadri Institute of Science and Technology, Rajampet, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, was started in 2009 as a Constituent College. The campus is spread over 33 acres, and NIST is approved by AICTE. The present enrolment of students in the Institute is 122, while the faculty strength is 90. It offers four B.Tech programs in the fields of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering to meet the diverse interests of students in the field of engineering.

Narayanadri Institute of Science and Technology aims to provide a proper learning environment fully facilitated with all modern facilities. The institute has a well-stocked library of more than 18,644 volumes and 1996 titles. Out of them, Electronics and Communication Engineering has the maximum intake of 120 seats. Other three programs including Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering have 60 seats each. The admission process in NIST is based on the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, which at the state level is conducted by AP EAMCET. NIST accepts EAMCET scores; hence, the admission process in this university is quite fair and uniform.
