Nargund college of Pharmacy Bangalore was started in the year 1999 and this college is one of the renowned college in the field of pharmacy. This affiliated college is established in the lively city of Bangalore, and has been catering to the future of pharmacy for more than twenty years now. Nargund College of Pharmacy is PCI approved institution which offers a number of programmes in pharmaceutical sciences. The college occupies a rather small territory: 1,5 acres, which gives a feeling of comfort and serrinity among 337 students and faculty members. The faculty comprises 27 professionals skilled in teaching and practice, and this student-teacher ratio guarantees the students accurate learning processes.

Nargund college of Pharmacy strives to ensure students get value for their time and resources, to this end it provides the following facilities to students. The library provides a complete reading section consisting of books, current journals and magazines , and national and international journals. As for practice, newly established laboratory complexes within each department accommodate various contemporary instruments and apparatus. It means students are connected, have access to the digital resources throughout their day and academic life. The campus facilities created with a view towards a healthy lifestyle include the gym facilities for sports and exercises, and sport courts of badminton, table tennis, volley-ball etc. There is also comfort for the students especially in different hostel for boys and different hostel for girls for the college accepts students who need hostels offering them a home away from home. 

Currently, Nargund College of Pharmacy comprises of seven offered programmes at different levels of the course offering. These include full time programmes at diploma level, undergraduate level as well as postgraduate studies. The academic programmes that college consists of a diploma i.e. D.Pharma, undergraduate course i.e. B.Pharma, four master degree programmes i.e. M.Pharma in different fields and only Doctorate of Pharmacy i.e. Pharm.D. The course structure of B.Pharma contains 100 intake and D.Pharma contains intake of 60 seats. The total student enrollment across all programmes is 337 this is because the College has to strive to ensure that class sizes are controlled to enhance learning.

Purpose of admission policy of Nargund College of Pharmacy is to be very systematic and standard. The college does not reveal particular dates for the test but relies on scores in qualifying tests, while it can organize entrance assessments for particular courses. Of all the programs, the B.Pharma programme has the most settled intake of 100 students.
