The Admission Process by Degree

BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration): As part of the management course line-up at NICSM, students wishing to pursue a career in management can now pursue a BBA program. The BBA admission process, therefore, considers a candidate's 10+2 score records, an internal personal interview, and an entrance examination.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): NICSM plans to offer BCA programs targeted towards students whose interests are inclined toward becoming career-minded in the IT field. Generally, admission into BCA programs is based on the candidates' performance in the 10+2 examination regarding mathematics and computer sciences.

MBA (Master in Business Administration): The NICSM MBA programs are focused on feeding graduate degree holders to enhance their managerial skills. The admission process takes account of the candidate's bachelor's degree scores, relevant scores from the entrance exam (e.g., CAT or MAT), and a power interview round.

PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications): Graduates wishing to specialize in understanding computer applications will be absorbed under this program. Though admission into PGDCA shall likely be dependent on the bachelor's degree scores, the candidate, if required, may have to take an aptitude test or interview.

MCA (Master in Computer Applications): It was formerly on the NICSM roll of 60 students as part of an approved intake. The course is presently not part of the course offerings. If still offered, the admission process would look at the candidate's bachelor's degree scores, preferentially one from a computer science-related field, entrance exam, and interview.
