About Cutoff at NCCS Pune

Admission to the Ph.D. program at the National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) in Pune does not have a fixed cut-off. The cut-off varies each year based on the number and quality of applicants. However, typically candidates with a Master's degree in relevant science fields such as cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or genetics, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA, and a valid fellowship from CSIR/DBT/ICMR/UGC/BINC or a JGEEBILS qualification have a good chance of admission.

These fellowships are government agencies in India that provide financial support to students and researchers in the fields of science, technology, and medicine, and they are awarded on a competitive basis. Interested candidates wanting to get an idea of the previous year's cut-off can check the NCCS Pune website after the admission process is completed.
