National College of Information Technology (NCIT), started in 2001 is an accredited premier institute offering education in computer science to its students located at Sri Muktsar Sahib in Punjab state of India. This affiliated college is committed to quality education in information technology and commerce. Located at Gurudwara Dattan Sahib Road behind the PU Regional Centre, NCIT was established in the early 1990s for moulding the future professionals to serve their respective companies.

The National College of Information Technology has strength of 11 fully dedicated teacher faculties for each student to help them develop their full potential. The library includes leading state and national newspapers, along with 48 magazine subscriptions, available in a large and quietly tucked- away reading area for those who enjoy traditional media.

The IT structure adopted by the college is quite impressive, given the fact that the college focuses on technology. The computer labs have all licenses for Windows 7, WAMP Server, Microsoft Office and C, C++, Java and Visual Basic. Students also get exposed to tools such as Oracle 10g and different CASE tools which enable the students have real life experience on different technologies used in the market.

NCIT offers four main courses: , B.Com (Hons,), BCA, M.Sc (IT), and PGDCA. They are structured in a way so that they can provide students with as much theoretical background as well as practical experience required in the advanced level professional career in the chosen specialization.
