BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): Most important, for admission to the BCA program, there is an entrance test, which includes Mathematics, English, and General Aptitude, at the 12th standard level. The NIELIT Imphal has a total intake of 200 students for this program.

Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering (DCSE): As for selection, the DCSE is mainly through a written test consisting of objective-type questions on 10th standard Mathematics and Science. The institute has an intake capacity of 60 students in this course.

Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (DECE): As for selection, the DECE is based on a written test having 10th standard Mathematics and Science. The institute has an intake capacity of 60 students in this course.

MCA (Master of Computer Applications): NIELIT Imphal selects the applicants for MCA based on their score either in an institute-level entrance test or in the examination of the Common University Entrance Test-PG (CUET PG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
