******** you have very less chances for B.F.Tech. course but you have good chances to get NIFT for B.Des. course however it is quite difficult to predict the campus right now.

Like last year for  B.F.Tech.  total 129 candidates were shortlisted only till the CMR of 929 but for B.Des. 90 candidates were shortlisted in the CMR of 4715-5543.

You have mentioned your category rank but you haven't mentioned your category. Considering Common Merit Rank you do not have chances to get seat in NIFT, Delhi based on the cut off in 2020. Here is the cut off in 2020 for admission to B.Des in NIFT Delhi under General category

• Leather Design: 654
• Textile Design: 396
• Knitwear Design: 432
• Fashion Design: 144
• Fashion Communication: 89
• Accessory Design: 205

Considering your CMR you do not have chances to get seat in NIFT, Delhi. Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Hello,

National Institute of Fashion Technology offers B.Des and B.F.Tech course in Under Graduate level. The admission is based on merit in NIFT Entrance examination conducted by NIFT. There is no consideration of Class 12th marks to determine the cut off. The eligibility criteria is as follows

B.DES

Education Qualification

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 board exam from any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi or Any Board/Public School/University Examination conducted in India or abroad which is equivalent to 10+2 system and it is accorded by the Association of Indian Universities or
• Must have completed the General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Sri Lanka/ Cambridge/) at the Advanced (A) level/International Baccalaureate (IB)
• Must have passed the 10+2 Examination conducted by the National Open School with at least five subjects or
• Must have passed Diploma of 3 or 4 years which is recognized by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education.

Age criteria

• The upper age limit is 23 years as on August 1st in the year of admission
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Person With Disability (PHP) get a relaxation of 5 years.

B.F.Tech

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subject from any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Examination or
• Any Public School/Board/University Exam in India or in foreign countries which is equivalent to a 10+2 system with Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics as a mandatory subject. It must be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities or,
• General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination(London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the advanced (A) level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/International Baccalaureate (IB) or,
• Must have passed 3 year or 4 year Diploma in Engineering in any discipline which is recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education or,
• Must have passed Higher Secondary Education Examination held by the National Open School with at least five subjects - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

Age criteria

• The upper age limit is 23 years.
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Person With Disability (PHP) get a relaxation of 5 years.

Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination as mentioned above are also eligible to apply. Their admission will be provisional and such students must submit the proof of passing in the qualifying examination on or before the cut off date specified. Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, you should work hard and should focus on achieving high and high in entrance exam it totally depends upon the examination if paper is simple then cutoff goes high gradually and if paper or examination is hard then cutoff goes down.
