The National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi was established in 1986 in collaboration with the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. The institution has played an important role in shaping India's fashion and design landscape. NIFT Delhi Scholarship

Scholarships remove the financial hindrance in the path of education for the meritorious students and help them in fulfilling their educational aspirations. Scholarships help in the empowerment of education. NIFT Delhi provides scholarship to students doing well in their academics. NIFT Delhi scholarship includes a merit-based scholarship. NIFT Delhi scholarship policy is known as Merit-Based Scholarship at NIFT and it was introduced in the year 2019. The scholarship offered to reward meritorious students who have a weak financial background. The toppers of NIFT entrance exam are also entitled to NIFT Delhi scholarship irrespective of their financial background.

NIFT Delhi Admission

NIFT Delhi admission is a competitive process. The National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi offers admission to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fashion-related disciplines. NIFT Delhi’s admission to the courses is facilitated through the NIFT Entrance Exam. For NIFT Delhi UG admission, the selection process comprises a written examination consisting of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT), followed by a situation test to be undertaken by shortlisted candidates of the written examination. For M.Des admission in NIFT Delhi, candidates have to take CAT and GAT whereas for MFM and Master of Fashion Technology candidates have to take GAT only.

Verify eligibility criteria for desired courses before applying.
Download the application form from the official college website.
Wait for the NIFT application window to open for the admission process.
Complete all sections of the application form with required details.
Submit the filled-out application form online.

NIFT Delhi UG Course Admission 2024:

The college offers admission to B.Des. with various specialisations, as well as B.FTech at the undergraduate level. Both courses have a duration of 4 years. Candidates interested in either the B.Des. or B.FTech programs must ensure they meet the respective eligibility criteria for their chosen course of study.

NIFT Delhi B.Des Course Admission Process

Candidates have to appear for the national level design entrance test conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology- NIFT Entrance Exam.
The entrance exam comprises three rounds - Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test.
Candidates qualifying CAT and GAT have to further appear for the Situation Test.
Next candidates have to meet the NIFT Delhi cutoff.
Candidates meeting the NIFT Delhi cutoff have to register for NIFT counselling and candidates will be allotted seats at NIFT Delhi as per the rank secured in the entrance exam and seat availability.
Subsequent to the seal allocation, candidates have to pay the NIFT Delhi course fee.

NIFT Delhi B.F.Tech Admission Process

Aspirants have to appear for the NIFT entrance exam consisting of the General Ability Test (GAT).
Next, candidates have to meet the requisite cut off.
Once the cutoff is met, candidates have to register for NIFT counselling and participate in it and seats will be allotted accordingly.
Document verification and payment of NIFT Delhi fees is the last stage of the admission process.

NIFT Delhi PG Course Admission 2024:

The college offers admission to MFM, M.Design, and MFT courses at the postgraduate level. These programmes have a duration of 2 years. Candidates interested in pursuing any of these PG courses must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria specified for each programme.

NIFT Delhi Admission Process: MFM/M.Des/MFT

Candidates have to apply and appear for NIFT PG entrance examination.
For M.Des candidates have to take CAT and GAT whereas for MFM and Master of Fashion Technology candidates have to take GAT only.
Candidates qualifying the above-mentioned exams have to further qualify case study based GD and PI.
Qualifying candidates have to register and participate in the NIFT counselling.
Once a seat has been allotted at NIFT Delhi, candidates have to complete the NIFT Delhi admission process by paying the fees and getting the documents verified.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is great. The library is really good and has air conditioning. the college doesnt have sports centre or hostel. the canteen served food is fine. but there is not much cleanliness in the canteen. overall the college is fine except some issues.

Overall infrastructure is good, has a library, a resource center. One can get a good resource that is not available outside the campus, for examples books and magazines that are not available outside at any bookstore

Its possible FOR SURE to clear the entrance exam of NIFT with board exams.you have to do smart work with some strategies.if you give daily time to prepare for NIFT you can easily crack the exam.

You can consider some points which will ease your stress

First of all Solve past year papers NIFT

Through the papers make note of important, common topics that reoccur, practice understanding the weightage, They ask about government schemes, sustainability you need to study these topics before going to exam.

Reach out to students on social media who have recently passed the exam Especially on Instragram and youtube there are helpful videos available not only for things to do but most importantly the things NOT TO DO

Its a creative field so you need to Do a lot of live sketching and doodling of scenarios, like kitchen utensils, inside a cafe, go to a park and doodle etc.scroll pinterest to get some aesthetic ideas for CAT section.

Start exploring PENCIL COLORS as a medium as coloring skill is a very important thing for CAT

Spend ur time on watching a lot of design movies, series on Netflix about design thinking etc

Increase your creativity through exercises.

Think out of the box of solutions to design around you, solve problems.thats it.

can I appear for nift 2024 exam but the nift exam will be held on Feb 1st week but my 12th boards are after nift exam????
