The library also has an excellent collection of video Tapes on different aspects of the management and hospitality industry. The library has multi-media resources to enable students to view these videos and learn the best practices from them. Constant replenishment is done on these resources on a regular basis. The library also includes a reference collection that consists of encyclopedias, dictionaries, classics of world literature, and varied subjects. NIHMT boasts one of the best collections of books and journals of hotels in the region.
Sports
The college has sports facilities for all students. The fitness freaks can find solace in cricket, football, volleyball, badminton is some popular sports. NIHMT organizes Vintage Sports every year.

Boys Hostel
Two separate hostels for boys with a well-equipped mess create a very healthy ambiance for ‘mess table’ interactions of the students and facilitate group interaction beyond classroom learning. But the hostel facility is not available to all students due to limited capacity. Rented premises are being used for both girls and boys' hostels at Bhubaneswar.
