The National Institute of Mass Communication and Journalism was established in the year 2007. The affiliated college offers two full-time specialisations in Media Studies and Journalism. The college is one of the most reputed in Gujarat, located in Ahmedabad. NIMCJ Ahmedabad has made a niche on the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway educational module in mass communication.
