A capstone project enables an individual to design a problem, develop the solution, and tackle troubleshooting. It is an important milestone in any professional programme. The goal of the Capstone Project programme is to enable you to integrate theories, skills, and principles and encourage you to use them to solve real-world problems. While capstone projects come in various forms, this particular course will focus on various aspects of technology.
The curriculum of Capstone Project certification has been developed by the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research or NITTTR, Kolkata. This massive open online course or MOOC has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as a faculty development programme or FDP. The course instructor will be Dr. Prasanta Sarkar, professor and head of the electrical engineering department at NITTTR, Kolkata.
Capstone Project is an eight-week online course in the Teacher Education category. It also offers certification if you pay the necessary fee, submit all assignments and appear for an offline exam at the end of the term. Otherwise, enrolment is free.

Certificate Qualifying Details
To meet the certificate qualification criteria of Capstone Project course, you need to submit all assignments and appear for an offline exam. The marks you obtain in the assignment section and exam section will determine your final score.
The final score comprises a 30% assignment score and a 70% exam score. For obtaining the certificate, you need to achieve the minimum mark requirement in all three sections, namely: 10/30 in assignments, 30/70 in the exam, and 40/100 in the final score. Once you meet all three criteria, you will be given the Capstone Project certificate.

If you don’t have any of these, you will have to create an account by providing an email address and selecting a password and username. The email address will be verified before account creation.
Capstone Project training offers a written proctored exam at the end of the course. You need to fill up a registration form and pay the exam fee to be able to appear for the exam.
