The very well-known institution is that of Natubhai V Patel College of Pure and Applied Sciences, established in the year 1996 at Vallabh Vidyanagar in Gujarat. This is a co-educational college that offers many different programs in pure and applied sciences. NVPAS Anand got accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The campus area is 3 acres, with a total student enrolment of 1,261 and a faculty strength of 32. Under its umbrella, the NVPAS, Anand offers 23 courses in 5 degree programs with specializations in fields like Computer Science, Biotechnology, Physics, and Mathematics.

The college offers 23 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. There are several courses at the undergraduate level in B.Sc. These comprise Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, and Computer Science. Specialized courses also comprise B.Sc. in Computer Application and Information Technology and Bachelor of Computer Applications. Moreover, it offers the postgraduate students M.Sc. in Computer Application and Information Technology. NVPAS Anand offers many Postgraduate Diploma programs in the areas of Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Automation, Remote Sensing and GIS, Bioinformatics.
