Natwarlal Maniklal Dalal College of Art and Commerce College is popularly known as NMD, Gondia. It is one of the premier institutions in the city. The college was established back in 1958. This affiliated college, located in Gondia of Maharashtra, has been giving its services in shaping the futures of students since more than the last six decades. This campus covers an area of 2.01 acres, with an ambience best suited to learning and growth. NMD College has been assessed and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC, Bangalore, and approved by the Bar Council of India. The institution imparts qualitative education through a wide array of programmes. With a total enrolment of 2,474 students and a faculty of 38.

NMD College offers teaching in a very broad scope of academic interests. It offers 19 full-time courses in multiple streams that comprise arts, commerce, law, and management. Thus, it contributes a substantial share towards higher education in the area. Some of the course names with their intake capacity are BA, B.Com, BBA. The institution further offers postgraduate courses like M.Com, MA in different subjects, and MBA. There is provision for available doctoral programmes.

Natwarlal Maniklal Dalal College uses a merit-based and absolutely merit-inclusive admission system. For most Undergraduate programmes, admission is strictly merit-based on the criterion of the candidate's performance in the 12th standard examination, which is exactly how it would operate in an entirely meritocratic space. However, in the LLB programme, admission is strictly based on the performance of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test.
