Navgan Shikshan Sanstha Rajuri’s College of Physical Education, situated in Beed, Maharashtra, was founded in 1982. Set on 17 acres of land, this co-educational college is specialised in offering programmes in physical education. The institute, an affiliated college, has 97 total enrolments for students and 6 faculty members at present. With a focus on nurturing future physical education professionals, the college provides two programmes: a Bachelor in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) and a Masters in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.), for undergraduate as well as postgraduate students.

Navgan Shikshan Sanstha Rajuri’s College of Physical Education has installed several facilities aimed at improving learning achievement and physical development among the students. A well-endowed sports hall is at the core of the college, where students have ample chance of improving themselves in various styles of sports. As far as the academic curriculum is concerned, Navgan Shikshan Sanstha Rajuri’s College of Physical Education offers two courses regularly. There is a three-year B.P.Ed. Course with 100 seats and a two-year M.P.Ed. Course with 20 seats. The total enrolment for students is 120 in both programmes which shows college management’s decision to limit the class size for better quality education. 

Navgan Shikshan Sanstha Rajuri’s College of Physical Education has its own methods of admission, which are based on merit and selection. Admission procedures for B.P.Ed. and M.P.Ed. Programmes are entrance examinations, although there are some percentile bases where candidates are selected. This examination is usually in three parts: a written examination, a fitness test, and an interview. Further, the percentile scored in the qualifying examination is also considered. This means that the colleges follow the admission policies of the state government and the university to which it affiliates to qualify for the student.
