Navgan Shikshan Sanstha Rajuri’s College of Physical Education, situated in Beed, Maharashtra, was founded in 1982. Set on a 17 acres land, this co-educational college is specialised in offering programmes in physical education. The institute an affiliated college is having 97 total enrolment for students and 6 faculty members at present. With a focus on nurturing future physical education professionals, the college provides two programmes: Bachelors in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) and Masters in Physical Education (M.P.Ed), for undergraduate as well as post graduate students.

Navgan Shikshan Sanstha Rajuri’s College of Physical Education has installed a number of facilities aimed at improving learning achievement and physical development among the students. A well endowed sports hall is at the core of the college, where students have ample chance of improving themselves in various styles of sports. The college library is highly equipped and produces a lot of printed documents and other learning materials in physical education and related disciplines. To support practical lesson, the institution has well equipped functional modern laboratories that suits the physical education course. Students choices in health and fitness are catered to with a gymnasium within the compound and a swimming pool so as to allow the students to maintain their fitness levels. Accommodation is also provided with health care services ncluding first aid services for individuals in the college community. This has prompted the institution to embrace great IT infrastructure in anticipation of the better IT education to encourage the learning and research. 

As far as academic curriculum is concerned, Navgan Shikshan Sanstha Rajuri’s College of Physical Education offers two courses in regular Basis. There is three years B.P.Ed course with 100 seats and two years M.P.Ed course has 20 seats. Such training programmes aim at offering education in general physical education that prepares student for different careers in the area. The total enrolment for students is 120 in both programmes which show college management’s decision of limiting the class size for better quality education. 

Navgan Shikshan Sanstha Rajuri’s College of Physical Education, has its methods of admission which are based on merit and selective. Admission procedure for B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed programme are entrance examination although there are some percentile basis where candidates are selected. This examination is usually in three parts: a written examination, fitness test and an interview. Further, the percentile scored in the qualifying examination is also considered. This means that the colleges follow the admission policies of the state government and the university to which it affiliates with in order to qualify for the student.
