Navjeevan School of Nursing, situated at Siliguri is an independent institution catering solely the filed of nursing education in West Bengal from the year 2003. This coeducational institute is situated in Gayaganga, Siliguri and it has a total land space of 5 acres. The facility is recognized by the INC and has 118 seats in two focused nursing programs. At present, the numbers of its members include 13 faculty members which is beneficial in terms of the student-faculty ratio. Navjeevan School of Nursing offers two full-time nursing programmes: B.Sc Nursing and GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery). B.Sc Nursing course takes four years, and the GNM programme takes three years. PhD has an approved intake of forty students per year while the masters has an approved intake of forty students per year making a total of eighty students per year. These are some of the fundamental courses that are intended to offer the student great theoretical background and necessary practical experience needed in nursing. Having selected these two basic nursing programmes, the institute is able to provide focused attention to nursing education in preparing students for the complex future healthcare environment.
