Navodaya College of Physiotherapy, Raichur was started in 1996 with bachelor education in physiotherapy becoming popular in the state of Karnataka, India. This affiliated college is situated at Navodaya Nagar, Raichur and provides many specializations in physiotherapy. Currently, it occupies a sixty-acre piece of land on which the institute has adequate environment suitable for learning. We currently have a student population of 238 of students and 19 members of the faculty which makes for small student teacher ratio. 

In conformance to its objective, the college aims to put in place facilities that augment the learning process of its learners. There are good laboratory facilities in different fields of physiotherapy and these are well endowed to enhance learning and research. It holds more than 32,714 books and 3,999 books under the Book Bank Scheme for SC/ST Students in college library. It also pays for 345 Indian & International journals, which helps the students to get updated with the new developments going on in this field. Digital library is another addition which enriches the learning tools for students, media library as well. Those interested in accommodation find hostels within the college compound with the college hosting over 3000 students in the boys’ and girls’ hostels separately.

MPTs deal with different areas of concentration including Sports Sciences, Neurological Science, Pediatrics, Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Sciences, Community Health, Musculoskeletal Science as well as Movement Science.
