Naxatra Institute of Media Studies is a self financed institute located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha which specialises in media studies. Founded in 2009, this affiliated college has been producing media professionals for more than ten years. Located in the Koustuv Technical Campus CNI Complex Chandrasekharpur the institute provides the conducive environment of a dedicated institution for journalists and other media professionals. Catering to the student capacity of 50 and the faculty of 5, Naxatra Institute offers individual attention to the student and gives them the right environment to develop themselves in the most competitive as well as constantly growing stream of media.

Infrastructure facilities prove that the institute bears all the facilities that can make learning more effective for the students. For this reason, a well-equipped library is said to be a centre for media studies since it lacks most of the necessary resources.
