Neelkanth College of Engineering, Meerut, was established in the year 2009. The college is affiliated and is in Modipuram, Uttar Pradesh, located in a sprawling 65-acre campus near Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Agriculture University. The institution has been established for imparting quality technical education to students. The institution is approved by both AICTE and offers three diploma programmes in various engineering fields. The teaching strength at the Neelkanth College of Engineering is 38, including experienced and devoted members. The college exists with the sole aim of modelling a bright future for the coming generation of engineers by empowering them with an in-depth curriculum and state-of-the-art facilities. 

Inside Neelkanth College of Engineering campus is a splendid arrangement for furthering the learning process and overall development of the students. Campus laboratories have been duly furnished and made up to help students get through with their practical applications of theoretical knowledge. It is a knowledge hub with a library that stocks more than 45,000 books, including textbooks, reference books, and journals of national and international repute. Neelkanth College of Engineering offers three diploma programmes spanning over a period of three. The programmes which the college includes Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Production Engineering, and Diploma in Mechanical Automobile Engineering. The college, in total, can admit 300 students in these courses comprising of 60 seats for Electrical Engineering and 120 seats for the other two programmes, for example Mechanical Production and Mechanical Automobile Engineering. All courses are put in place in order to give students a strong base toward a next-generation engineering sector.

Admission at Neelkanth College of Engineering is mainly through the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination(Polytechnic). Preference is given in the admission process for those with a valid JEECUP score card. This entrance test throws a filter that gags only such students who, as per norms, have a good aptitude for courses related to engineering. The college also offers different support facilities that may be focused on the all-round development of the student, such as having a particular Training and Placement Cell that resolves to make their students employable and place them accordingly in job opportunities.
