Nehru College of Aeronautics & Applied Sciences popularly known as NCASS was founded in 1968 and is situated in Coimbatore of Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college that occupies a four point zero eight five four acre area provides specialized aeronautics and applied sciences programs. NCASS in this period has a student population of 216 learners and employee population of 19 faculty members. The institute offers 4 distinct programs at three levels of degrees intended for aeronautical sciences, airline and airport operations, and aircraft maintenance science. More to the fact that it focuses on aviation education, NCASS has the noble aim of training proficient personnel to meet the increasing demand in the industry.

The admission procedures of the Nehru college of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences are different regarding the programs of study. Again, in the MBA in Airline and Airport Management, the programme follows MAT/CAT scores admissibility. For the MBA program, it follows industrial norms to accept scores from the Common Admission Test (CAT) and the Management Aptitude Test (MAT).
