Nehru College of Education, Sirsa is a co-educational institution which was initiated during the year 2014. It is located at Alikan village in Sirsa district, Haryana. The college has been accredited by National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi. The college has an area of 1 acre with a total strength of students being 197 and faculty strength being 11.

Nehru College of Education has offered some facilities that made learning more effective for the students. A well-equipped library forms the centre of intellect on campus. With over 4400 books, of which 1235 are textbooks, and 2,158 Title with 14 journals, 5 magazines, and 5 newspapers that the library has subscribed for learning purposes. To aid in tapping into technology-based learning, the college has also spent on IT infrastructure so as to find rhythm in most modern educational styles and methods. For facilities, the college provides on-campus cafeteria and auditorium for any college events or seminars. There are sporting facilities such as a cricket ground and a badminton court, which cater to sporting interests and encourage physical fitness. Some of these facilities include laboratories for practical learning experiences, health centres where first-aid facilities are available, and transport services to and from the city for easy access to the institution by students and staff members.

The institution offers only one type of course which is the B.Ed. course that is of full-time nature and two years' duration.

So, admission is made basically on the basis of the performance of applicants in the qualifying examination, entrance tests, or other selection procedures as may be constituted by the competent authorities from time to time.
