The Nehru School of Architecture, Coimbatore, earlier known as Coimbatore Institute of Architecture and Education for Women, was set up in 2015 is affiliated. Officially recognized by the Council of Architecture this institute is a co-educational one with a specific emphasis on architectural education. Initially built on a large piece of land of 2 acres, the current number of students in the school is 129 and the number of faculty members is 10. 

The facility of Nehru School of Architecture has all the amenities that are required by a young generation to have a balanced educational environment. Established on the third floor, the library houses books, journals and other materials relating to architecture and civil engineering. This has an in-house developed WINLMS software for good management and it provides web based OPAC for ready access to libraries information. The institution has designated separate hostels for boys and girls for more than 5000 students with AC and non-AC accommodations. Largest hostels having large dining halls, sophisticated kitchens, and the hostels are supported by 125 KVA generators. It also has a health center where sick students are treated and given first aid, a gym where students can exercise, and playing fields for games to try and keep students healthy. For academic activities, purposeful laboratories and workshops are available in school; for instance, carpentry work with various kinds of wood.

Nehru School of Architecture currently offers one full-time course: The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program hereunder is offered to students who have successfully passed their advanced level or have equivalent qualifications from recognized universities. This program has a total intake of 40 seats in five years and clearly depicts the DW of the institution, which offers quality education on a particular area of study. 

Organisation of Nehru School of Architecture: Admission to the Nehru School of Architecture is taken based on the score that one receives in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). The institution also considers scores obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) for admission too.
