Nelliandavar Institute of Technology NIT a private institution was established in the year 2013 The institution is affiliated AICTE and is located in Pudupalayam of Tamil Nadu. Being an accredited university affiliated to Anna University, Chennai the institute offers almost all the undergraduate engineering programmes. The institute has a 13-acre campus and the student enrollment is in the 629-something range and is under the guidance of 68 member faculty. The faculty offers five B.E./B.Tech programs including Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and the latest being Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
This institute has a goal to offer the most up-to-date facilities within its infrastructure to the students’ benefit. The campus equipped with well developed laboratories, library and computer lecture halls and it has a vast pleasant library also. Being a centre of academic research and independent reading, the library provides students with book and journal access, as well as digital sources.

The NITT is functional with total of five full time undergraduate engineering courses that is offered by the institution. These are BE in civil engineering, computer science engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical and electronics engineering and B.Tech in artificial intelligence and data science. All programmes are four-year, full-time ones. These are; The total approved student intake for all the courses is 330, and for all the programmes 60 intakes were provided except to Civil Engineering which has 30 intakes.
The overall admittance procedure of the students to NIT Pudupalayam is strictly in conformity with the general Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions or TNEA counselling session. A prospective student must fulfill certain condition stipulated by the institute and sit for TNEA entrance examination. The admission process normally involves completing a form and providing some papers relating to the candidate. As for the next academic year, the candidate has to upload documents till 12th June 2024 for TNEA 2024 and the TNEA 2024 rank list will be released on 10th July 2024.
