Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Institute of Pharmacy (NSCBIP), Nadia, West Bengal, was started in the year 2004. This affiliated college is approved by AICTE and imparts specialized education in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The campus has a compact 2.55-acre area with 371 student enrolled and 31 faculty members in service. The institute has several facilities in order to enhance the learning of students. The NSCBIP offers a wide array of programs in pharmaceutical education. There is one undergraduate program in B.Pharma and three different postgraduate programs: M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacology. At the centre of its offerings stands the B. Pharma program, with a sanctioned intake of 100 students. M. Pharma programs exist in specialized cardinal areas of Pharmaceutical Science, with correspondingly smaller intakes ranging between 5 and 9 students, to ensure focused study in depth. All courses are full-time, requiring an absolute commitment to thorough and immersive pharmaceutical education.

The admission process in NSCBIP is mostly entrance-based. In the case of the B. Pharma course, admission is done through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. Students looking for admission to the postgraduate course have to clear the West Bengal Post Graduate Entrance Test, which opens the gateway for admission into the M. Pharma course. The M. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: NSCBIP offers a 4-year B.Pharma program with an intake of 100 seats. Admission is based on the candidate's performance in the WBJEE. The application process for WBJEE typically begins in January, with the exam conducted in April or May. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology to be eligible.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Chemistry: This 2-year postgraduate program has an intake of 9 seats. Admission is based on the candidate's performance in the WB PGET. Applicants must have a B.Pharma degree from a recognized institution.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutics: NSCBIP offers 6 seats for this 2-year M.Pharma specialization. The admission process is similar to M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Chemistry, with selection based on WB PGET scores.
M.Pharma Pharmacology: This 2-year program also has 6 seats available. Uniquely, this course considers both WB PGET and GPAT scores for admission. Candidates with a B.Pharma degree are eligible to apply.
