New Ideal College of Education aims at offering standard teacher education by offering the Bachelor of Education (B.ED) program. This being a full-time course it takes 2 years and the approved enrollment is 100 students. The B.Ed program is especially aimed at preparing proficient and skilled teachers for the successful future in the process of education. Presently, the college has only one course of study, but the content of the program, therefore, prepares the graduates adequately for teaching practice.

Accordingly, the process of admission at New Ideal College of Education is merit based and strictly followed this policy as per the rules and regulation of state government and/or Union Territory administration and the University to which it is affiliated. It has been realized that admission process is based on the marks scored in the qualifying and/or entrance test.
