New Rajasthan Balika PG Mahavidyalaya, Jhunjhunu, started in 2003, is the only women’s college spread in the district of Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan. As an affiliated college recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), this institution provides the best learning environment and character formation. The college is located on a comparatively small campus of 1 acres now the college has 1,360 students including students in distance, flexible and open learning mode and a faculty of 48 members. The institution specialises in integrated teacher education programmes, offering twelve distinctive courses: BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed and many more courses offered and both courses are regular and take four years to complete.

New Rajasthan Balika PG Mahavidyalaya has a variety of facilities that are well equipped to facilitate education today to in its strive to improve the students experience. The knowledge centre which is the library contains an impressive stock of textbooks, other general books, dictionaries, journals and periodicals. It boasts of some of well equipped laboratories such as the Botanical, Zoological laboratory, Physical laboratory, Chemistry, Geography laboratory, Home Science lab, and Drawing & Painting laboratory. Computer laboratory with internet connection which is Wi-Fi has been provided to meet the digital learning demands of the students. To fulfil the lodging facility need of out-station students, the college offers fully-furnished girls’ hostel facility with connected power supply, sufficient water disasters and entertainments’ zones.

Nevertheless, new Rajasthan Balika PG Mahavidyalaya has established twelve blended teacher education programmes, and both are four years full-time programmes. The programmes such as BA B.Ed ,B.Sc B.Ed ,MA Hindi ,M.Sc Mathematics , BA and M.Sc Zoology etc.have been specifically named in a manner to help students develop both content knowledge and teaching and learning skills within the system. 

New Rajasthan Balika PG Mahavidyalaya follows the merit admission process for all students, while the admission procedure is not clearly spelt for the university.
