Nibedita Institute of Technology, Sagarpara, or NIT Sagarpara, was established in the year 2008. This affiliated college is situated in Murshidabad, West Bengal, spread over a sprawling 5.02-acre campus. This institution was approved by AICTE and offers various diploma courses in engineering fields. The institute has a total student enrollment of 608 with a faculty strength of 51 and provides an apt environment for technical education. NIT Sagarpara offers six diploma courses in different branches of engineering, meeting the diverse interests of aspiring technicians and engineers.

The institute is well-endowed with modern facilities to assist the academic and personal growth of its students. NIT Sagarpara has six full-time diploma courses; all of these courses are of three years duration. The courses include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science and Engineering, and Information Technology. The institute has an approved total intake of 390 in these programs, out of which Civil Engineering tops the charts with an approved intake of 120 seats. All programs at the institute are oriented toward providing sound fundamentals in each field so that students can excel in their careers amidst rapidly changing technological environments.
