Founded in 1939, NKES College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Mumbai, is one of the most esteemed and oldest institutions of Mumbai. This affiliated college is conducts by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and offer wide number of undergraduate course in Arts, Commerce and Science stream. The total student intake of NKES College is 285 and the faculty strength is 11 so it can give a proper concentrated educational experience. The institution facilitates four courses, B.Com, B.Com Accounting and Finance, BMS and BMM to fan out to a variety of interests and professions. There are several infrastructures in the college which aims at improving on the welfare of the students.

The college has the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) among its courses. The principal goal of each of these programmes is to make sure that the learners acquire an appropriate professional outlook, knowledge, and skills that will lead to a successful performance in the workplace environments. The total number of students enroled in all courses is 285 and this is the college’s way of not overcrowding the college to allow faculty members to give each student personal attention in their learning processes. 

Admission policies in NKES College of Arts, Commerce and Science involve majority merit-based and follows the Government of Maharashtra reservation policy. It remains as a fair way of recruiting people to increase the chances of selecting the most qualified employees. As for self-financed programme like BMS and BMM, the college has given certain weight age of students from Arts, Commerce and Science stream at 12th standard level while preparing the merit list.
