Noorul Islam Polytechnic College in Punkarai, was started in 1984 at Thiruvithamcode, Tamil Nadu as an affiliated college. It also runs diploma courses in different faculty of engineering approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. Located on a 13.96 acres, the college has a total student enrolment of 690 and it has 42 faculty members. Noorul Islam Polytechnic College offers 6 diploma courses in different fields of engineering to cater the needs of the students.
