North East Institute of Management Science, Jorhat: Admission 2025, Courses, Fees, Cutoff, Placements, Ranking

One of the most reputed educational institutes, North East Institute of Management Science, Jorhat, Assam, was founded in the year 2000. This affiliated college, located just opposite Gate No. 1 of RRL, has a 3-acre campus with much diversified academic programmes. Due to its commitment towards delivering quality education, NEIMS has got approvals from many prestigious bodies such as All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). The present student strength in this institution is 194, with a faculty strength of 22—thus, a proper focus is guaranteed. The institute imparts 3 degree courses in diversified disciplines to fulfill the emerging educational needs of the students of the north eastern region of India. 

NEIMS prides itself on its all-rounded facilities toward raising the learning experience for its students. The institution has a well-stacked library that acts as a knowledge hub for its academic pursuits. The institute also offers sports facilities and a gymnasium for the physically fit. There is excellent IT infrastructure in this campus, which helps the students be in touch with today's digital world. NEIMS offers 3 regular courses in undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Programmes currently offered in its academic portfolio include Hotel Management, Business Administration, Education, and Social Work. The B.Ed has 50 seats available. 

The procedure for admission to different programmes in NEIMS is different. Admissions to the B.Ed. programme shall be based on merit, taking into account marks secured in the qualifying examination and entrance examination. The policy, if any, evolved by the State Govt/UT Administration, shall also be followed by the institution for admission.
