North Eastern Regional Institute of Management, Guwahati is a private institution, established in 1992. The college offers various specialisation courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. NERIM Guwahati courses include B.Com, B.B.A, B.A.LL.B, LL.B, B.C.A, LL.M, M.B.A, M.A., and many others. NERIM Guwahati admissions to these courses are based on both academic merit and entrance exam results. The college conducts its NERIM Entrance Test (NET) for admission to various courses including M.B.A., M.C.A., and LL.M.

The candidates seeking admission must meet the North Eastern Regional Institute of Management eligibility criteria for the desired course. To complete the admission procedure, the candidate should pay the admission fee along with the submission of documents. The institute has a unique placement cell that handles all the placement activities on campus. North Eastern Regional Institute of Management placements are offered to all the deserving students on campus. The NERIM Guwahati's highest package stood at Rs. 12 LPA in 2023.
