Nowgong College, Nagaon, was founded in the year 1944. At present, it is one of the premier institutions in Nagaon, Assam. The area of this sprawling campus is 8.3 acres. It has been awarded certain accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Nowgong College offers 47 courses in 9 degrees to a total student population of 3,350. With a faculty strength of 2, this college offers specialised education in Sciences, Arts, and Vocational Studies Departments.
