NPR College of Engineering and Technology, NPRCET for short, was started in the year 2008 at Dindigul, Tamilnadu, India. This co-educational institute is recognised by Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC. NPRCET covers a vast area of 14.92 acres and provides diverse 10 courses under 3 different degree B.E/B.Tech in information technology etc. and , M.E/ M.Tech and MBA. The college has a total enrolment capacity of 833 and has a faculty of 117; therefore, the college has a commendably small student-teacher ratio. Gender wise also the institute is moderate in having male students accounting for 71 percent and female students accounting for 29 percent of the total students and all of them are from the state.

For undergraduate engineering courses (B.E./B.Tech), a candidate must be a 10+2 pass having science or possess relevant diploma. The admission process is a part of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process and counselling system. The requirements for the postgraduate engineering programmes are the B.Tech with specific minimum marks and the admission process for the PG programmes are the CEETA-PG. For the MBA programme , students have to qualify themselves in the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET).
