The N.S College of horticultural sciences at Prakasam of the Andhra Pradesh is a college providing education exclusively in the field of horticulture. This co-educational college was founded in 2017 – and has since emerge as a prevalent college offering horticulture. Located on a large piece of ground of about one hundred and ten acres, the college has a favourable learning and research environment for horticulture. The college totals 163 students for enrolment and 32 faculty members, which make the student-teacher ratio quite favourable and enable quality education provision.

NS College of Horticultural Sciences is offering its institutional course with a special focus in its core programme B.Sc. Horticulture (Hons). This course is offered full time and takes three years to complete and has an approved annual cohort size of seventy students. This programme is intended to enable students acquire broad underpinnings and competencies in diverse sub-sectors of horticulture to address employment needs in this niche area. At present this college only has one degree programme but its focus affords an intensive and targeted education in horticulture.
