NSPR Government Degree College for Women in Hindupur was established in 1987. It is one of the prime institutions working for women's education in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This affiliated college is spread in a campus area of 1 acre in the centre of Hindupur, Thyagaraja Nagar. The quality of the institution is also accredited by NAAC, which shows the strong commitment of the institution toward quality in its ways and approaches in education. It offers a myriad of courses in its basket comprising 20 courses under the flagship of 6 degree programmes. The degree programmes have a student enrolment of 1,051 girl students. NSPR Government Degree College for Women offers courses from full-time undergraduate degree programmes. The institution provides an excess of 20 courses across diverse fields in the forms of Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science, and BA programmes which are designed to cater to diverse academic interests and career aspirations. The B. Sc in Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry (Telugu Medium) has an approved intake of 60 students. The courses available at the college reflect a fine blend between traditional academic subjects and more specialised fields of education thus, multiple choices to the student
