About NSS College, Nemmara

NSS College, Nemmara which was started in 1967 is under the Calicut University, Palakkad of Kerala state. Being affiliated to NACC and approved by NAAC, this college provides 15 courses in six degree programs that are offered under three years full time education. The college occupies a large area of land of 38 Acres and has got a total of 1512 students, among which 329 are males and 1, 023 are female. The institute has a brain reserve of 42 members of faculty offering excellence in courses in arts, science, and commerce undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The college is well endowed with such advanced and sophisticated facilities as would complement its students learning. As a part of its academic resources it includes a library with over 30,000 books with a system of computer aided cataloging. Students can take advantages of the available library during intervals, lunch break to borrow books for assignments and seminar. Also in support of student needs, departmental libraries are also held in the institution.

College Infrastructure

Poor infrastructure as they don't provide any new facilities technologies and innovation. It is maintained as how it was built. Even the college don't have a proper hostel system and people have to take P.G near the campus which is very hard to find.
