NSS Hindu College, Changanacherry Admission Process

NSS Hindu College, Changanacherry accepts students who want to pursue graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies in the field of sciences, commerce, and arts, as well as humanities and social sciences. All the merit-based NSSHC admission to UG and PG courses are made through the Mahatma Gandhi University Centralised Allotment Process (MG CAP).

Candidates are admitted to the NSSHC PhD programme after passing their PhD qualifying/entrance examination followed by an interview for NSSHC Ph.D admissions. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for NSSHC admission.

Visit the official website of Mahatma Gandhi University (CAP), cap.mgu.ac.in and click on ’Admission’.
Create an account and obtain a login ID and password.
Fill in all the personal and academic details. Then, choose the desired programme (up to 40 selections) and pay the application fee.
Take a preview of the form and then submit the application form.
Keep a physical copy of the application form for future reference.

B.Sc	Candidates who have qualified 10+2 in the Science stream with a concerned subject (Physics /Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Biology)
B.Com	Candidates who have qualified 10+2 with Accountancy, Book-Keeping and any two subjects related to Commerce.

NSS Hindu College UG Admission Process

Candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the NSSHC UG courses and then apply to MG Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). The application fee for UG courses is Rs 800 (Rs 400 for SC/ST).
While registering for admission, candidates should select NSSHC as the desired college and choose the desired UG courses.
After registration, a rank list is prepared and published online. Selected candidates are allotted seats at the respective institute.
Candidates should visit the NSSHC campus for document verification and pay the fees to confirm admission.

The departments of Hindi, Malayalam and Zoology of NSSHC are approved research centres of the Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) and offer Ph.D courses in Hindi, Malayalam and Zoology.

Fill out the application form and register for the entrance test. The application fee for the Ph.D course is Rs 1,105 (Rs 550 for SC/ST).
Candidates have to appear for the entrance test and qualified candidates are required to give a doctoral interview.

The coursework was quite good - not too tough and not too easy. It was up to date with all the new developments in physics. I was pursuing my undergraduate program in Physics here. They gave us a good foundation for our future studies.
