Nutan Mahavidyalaya is one of the oldest and established educational institutes set up in 1968, at Parbhani, Maharashtra. Situated in the region of Selu, this affiliated college lies over a 28-acre area and has accreditation from NAAC. It presents 5 degree courses and 16 courses with an enrolment of 1,142 students with 17 faculty members. With 434 male and 692 female students enrolled in the college, the institution provides an equal number of males and females. The institution, therefore, ascribes to the introduction of inclusive education. Nutan Mahavidyalaya specialises in arts, commerce, science, and computer applications, both at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. 

Nutan Mahavidyalaya proudly offers an all-inclusive learning environment with state-of-the-art facilities. Its well-equipped library is partially automated using SOUL software and access to more than 21,000 online journals and 51,000 e-books using the N-LIST project. College is providing comfortable hostel accommodation for female students. The campus houses modern laboratories, auditorium for events and seminars, and canteen for refreshments. Excellent IT infrastructure, gymnasium, and various sports facilities are provided to its students. The college, besides first aid facilities and guest rooms for visiting faculty and family members, also has a health centre. All these facilities help to take care of the student's educational experience in a holistic manner while nurturing academic and personal growth. From the various interests of the students, Nutan Mahavidyalaya offers an exhaustive variety of courses. 

There are 16 full-time courses of undergraduate and postgraduate levels that the institution offers. Undergraduate students have a choice of BA and B.Com degrees in a variety of options. The specialisations possible in B.Sc degrees and B. CA are also on hand. Here, we can acquire the Master of Arts degree with MA Marathi and MA History. The B. Sc course is highly versatile; it offers combinations as such as Physics-Mathematics-Computer Science, Botany-Zoology-Chemistry, etc. and other interdisciplinary combinations. This allows students to acquire an education plan that is personal to them. 

The admission of students and the process is very much simplified and student-friendly at Nutan Mahavidyalaya. The institution strictly adheres to a merit-based selection process; thus, every student who deserves the opportunity gets the chance to pursue studies in the stream of her choice. The college lends scholarship support for the year 2020 to students. From the total 1,096 undergraduate students, 726 students avail reimbursement; from the total 30 postgraduate students, 13 students avail reimbursement. In short, this reflects the concern of the college in bringing quality education to a greater number of students.
