NVP Law College, Visakhapatnam: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

NVP Law College, Visakhapatnam was established in 1980. This affiliated college is one of the premier institutions for legal education and is located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The institution is situated opposite the International Cricket Stadium in Madhurawada. This Bar Council of India-approved college runs three full-time law programmes for a total student body of 495. With faculty strength of 8 members, the environment at NVP Law College remains focused on learning. 

NVP Law college has many resources to further enrich its students' learning experience. One of the integral facilities provided is a fully computerised library that includes a huge collection of books, magazines, and journals pertaining to different subjects. This has been provided as a resource centre not only for academics but also has an exclusive seminar room equipped with modern facilities. The sincerity of the institution towards practical legal training can be seen in its Moot Court, periodically holding sessions with senior lawyers to provide practical exposure to students. Also, the Legal Aid Clinic set up on campus in collaboration with the District Court of Visakhapatnam gives the necessary actual exposure to court procedures and settlement of disputes to the students.

The academic structure of NVP Law College consists of three major courses: the three-year LLB programme, the five-year BA LLB Integrated course, and the two-year LLM programme. All these programmes are full-time to ensure an in-depth and intensive course of legal studies. 

Admissions at NVP Law College are primarily regulated by the rules laid down by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The college offers admission based on the performance displayed in Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test, a state-level common entrance examination conducted for admission into the law programme. This entrance examination is an essential selection procedure for both LLB and BA LLB Integrated.
