Nya Tatyasaheb Athalye Arts, Ved SR Sapre Commerce and Vid Dadasaheb Pitre Science College, Devrukh is popularly known as ASPC Devrukh. It is a multidisciplinary institution established in 1972 in the city of Devrukh in Maharashtra. The affiliated college falls under a sprawling 14-acre campus. The institution offers a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in three streams: Arts, Commerce, and Science. For its various programs, the college follows a merit-based admission process. ASPC Devrukh is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and follows all the admission rules and regulations that are in place at the university level.
The admission cycle usually starts after the declaration of results of 12th standard for undergraduate courses and results after graduation for postgraduate courses. Degree-wise Admission Process
B.A.: The approved intake of the three-year Bachelor of Arts program in ASPC Devrukh is 120 students. Admission to the program is on the basis of marks scored at the 12th standard examination.
B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce program also has an approved intake of 120 students. Candidates who have completed their 12th standard with Commerce or equivalent are eligible to apply. The admission is merit-based, considering the marks in the qualifying examination.
B.Sc: The college offers a B.Sc program with an intake of 120 students. The eligibility for admission is completion of 12th standard with Science subjects. The selection is based on marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
B.Sc Computer Science: Intake of this professional programme is approved 60 students. Applicants who are a Science stream holder at the level of 12th standard or holding Mathematics, they are eligible for this. The merit principle is adopted while taking admissions.
M.Sc Organic Chemistry: This college provides an M.Sc course in Organic Chemistry also with an intake of 20. The minimum qualification required is a B.Sc degree in Chemistry or related fields. The student will be admitted strictly based on the marks in the qualifying degree.
M.Sc Analytical Chemistry: The intake is approved at 20 students. Students holding a B.Sc in Chemistry or related sciences can apply. Selection is based on academic merit.
M.Sc Physics: The intake is 10 students for the M.Sc Physics program. The applicants should hold a B.Sc in Physics or any related fields. Admission is made based on performance in the qualifying degree.
Ph.D Chemistry: The college offers a doctoral program in Chemistry with an intake of 5 students. Candidates with a Master's degree in Chemistry or related disciplines can apply. The admission process may include an entrance test and/or interview.
