Om College of Education, Sonepat was established in the year 2007. It is one of the most leading teacher training institutes, situated at Khandrai, Gohana, District Sonipat of Haryana State. The co-educational institute is affiliated to Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa. This affiliated college has been accredited by NCTE and imparts quality education for the field of teaching. With a total student enrollment of 401 and a faculty strength of 38, Om College of Education offers an ideal learning environment for aspiring teachers. This institution has two major specialized courses in the area of education: Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Education at different levels of teacher training.

Admissions to Om College of Education are based on merit, subject to the admission policies framed by the state government, UT Administration, and affiliated university. The admission to the B.Ed course shall be made purely on the basis of marks obtained in or through performance in the entrance examination. Admission to the D.Ed course will also be done strictly based on merit, scored by the candidates in the qualifying examination and/or performance in the entrance test. Admission to these two critical educational programs is therefore aimed at the most meritorious candidates alone.
