Omkarananda Institute of Management and Technology, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, was founded in the year 1999 as an affiliated college. On a 7-acre campus, OIMT offers a wide range of programmes in Management, Technology, and Education. Being approved by AICTE and NCTE, this institute has been imparting quality education in its 9 various degree programmes. OIMT has a faculty strength of 13 members catering to a lot of students hailing from different disciplines under a single teaching roof.

Presently, Omkarananda Institute of Management and Technology boasts an array of modern facilities to support the academic pursuit within its fold. In the institute campus itself, there are well-furnished separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms, common areas, 24-hour security, and more—just a home away from home. It is the knowledge hub of the campus, possessing a collection of over 8,000 books, 53 national and international journals, and access to digital resources through DELNET. Simultaneously, students can access state-of-the-art IT infrastructure which enriches the learning experience. OIMT has a well-structured admission policy which varies from one programme to another. In the case of the MBA, the Institute requires the candidates to have taken national-level entrance exams like MAT, CAT, or CMAT with valid scores in the same. Admission to BBA and B.Com is done on the basis of personal interviews and counselling, while for BCA, there will be a test followed by counsellings.
