Orchids Education Society was established in the year 1990 and is located in Ralegaon Yavatmal in the state of Maharashtra offering the facilities of Arts and Commerce college. It is an 8 acres campus which has two undergraduate programmes in Arts and Commerce. In terms of student capacity, the college is small with an annual student intake of 321 and a faculty strength of 4 making it a college with learning concentrations. It is affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), to assure quality education for all its students. 

Orchids Education Society Arts, Commerce College has several amenities which enrich the experience of the student. These facilities meet the health needs of the students with regard to their sporting prowess and leisure hobbies. The library an essential campus infrastructure resources has been computerised by utilising the leaning of Information Library Network (INFLIBNET) and developed software, the SOUL 2.0 Library. This advance in the use of digital technology has a positive impact on improved operations in learning institutions and library facilities and services to the students. In addition, the college has devoted great resources on quality IT equipment to support the students’ education activities. 

Orchids Education Society Arts, Commerce College offers two full-time undergraduate programmes, Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree programmes. They both take three years, in which they offer students a broad exposure to their disciplines of interest. The total student capacity of the college is 321, this means that the student take ratios are good since they can work well as a unit without congestion this can imply that the take ratios make it easier for the student faculty ratio to be smaller hence implying that students can be attended to adequately by their lecturers.
