The Oriental College Kohima was founded in 1996 as an affiliated college located in the beautiful capital city of Nagaland, India. This tertiary institution is found at D.Khel, Kohima- 797001, and the college occupies a comparatively small piece of land measuring 5 acres, which as a result offers a close-knit learning terrain for the learners. However, being a relatively young college, the college has been constantly expanding the number of courses offered and at the moment offers 9 courses within 4 degrees, the majority of which are arts and commerce streams. Managed by a faculty of 50 members Oriental College provides concentration and proper education to the students.

At present, Oriental College, Kohima recognised a total of 10 courses and all these are full time. The structure of Academics is mainly framed on Bachelors of Art with speaking honours programmes in English, History, Education, Tenyide, Political Science & Economics. For the business inclined, the college has a Bachelors of Commerce programme with an honours bias in Accounting and Finance.
