Oyster College of Nursing, Aurangabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Established in the year 2013, Oyster College of Nursing, Aurangabad is an affiliated College. The co-educational institution is located in Maharashtra and has been approved by the Indian Nursing Council. The college campus covers an area of 4.5 acres. Oyster College of Nursing offers one course across one stream, namely Nursing, and the annual enrolment of 145 students; 17 faculty members ensure a feasible student-teacher ratio. Oyster College of Nursing shall strive to provide broad-based nursing education that would help the students keep pace with the changing health care scenario.

The college has a number of facilities that add to the learning environment for its students. Separate boys' and girls' hostels are well-furnished, equipped with all basic needs. The library is well-stocked and acts as a knowledge center; every possible resource is provided to the students. The IT infrastructure in the college assists in keeping the students abreast with changing technology relating to healthcare. The university comprised of well-equipped and specialized laboratories in various areas, including Nursing Sciences, Pre-Clinical Sciences, Community Health Nursing, Maternal and Child Health, and Nutrition labs, all of which help in the integration of theory with practice. Facilities for sports, a gym, and a cafeteria are made available within the campus for all-round development of the students. The immediate medical needs are tended to in the first-aid facilities of the health center on campus, and the rich clinical experiences under expert supervision flow from its affiliation with leading hospitals in Aurangabad.

Oyster College of Nursing has one full-time course: the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. This four-year program has an approved intake of 40 students per annum. This course of B.Sc. The institution encompasses all theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for a successful nursing profession. 

Oyster College of Nursing Admission mainly takes up students basing on the MHTCET, Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test. There is also a preference for the candidates who have passed the 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology- PCBE group.
